Worldteachers are working closely in partnership with the UAE education reform programme. They are currently looking for recent Biology, Chemistry and Physics Graduates to start in 2019 where they will join a Teacher Training Programme to teach Science. Later start dates may be available. You will be placed to teach and train within the state school system in the UAE in one of the following Emirates: Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, Dubai and Umm Al Quwain.
Please note that no previous experience of teaching is required, only a good Science degree (Biology, Chemistry or Physics) and the motivation to educate children.
Start dates are available in early 2020. Later dates may also be available.
The project is intended to increase student engagement and to improve the standard of Science within the UAE public schools. Full training and support will be provided throughout, resulting in you being awarded a UAE teaching licence at the end of your initial contract.
Education Requirements Minimum requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry or Physics.
Starting salary is 16,000AED (c.£3,400 / €3,900) per month tax free and includes living allowances.
Other benefits paid include flights and medical cover.
Interviews will take place in the UK, Ireland and the UAE in the coming months. Please note this employer will not conduct Skype interviews.
Ireland interviews will take place in Dublin on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th December.
