Worldteachers are working closely in partnership with the public schools in the United Arab Emirates and their education reform programme. We are helping them recruit experienced Health and Social Care Teachers to teach in one of the following Emirates - Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, Dubai, Umm Al Quwain, and Abu Dhabi.
The project is a vocational education programme combining core secondary and vocational subjects, offering pupils the chance to gain valuable experience by integrating classroom learning with real-world situations through work placements. Teachers will be expected to teach at secondary school level (grades 9-12, ages 14-18).
Start dates are available throughout 2019.
UK interviews will take place in London on Saturday 29th June and Manchester on Sunday 30th June.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Essential:
- Bachelor's Degree in Health and Social Care
- Minimum of 2 years of Health and Social Care teaching experience
Desirable:
- Training and Assessing Qualification
- Internal Verification Qualification
- Master's degree
- CELTA/TESOL or DELTA qualification
- Experience of teaching students whose first language is not English
Salary:
- Total Salary is AED 16,000-21,000 (c. £3300-4400) per month dependent on qualifications and experience, which is tax-free.
- This is the total figure paid and includes living allowances and rent.
Other benefits paid include flights and medical cover for teacher, spouse, and up to 3 dependents, and an end-of-contract bonus.
