We have an exciting opportunity for a Secondary Physics Teacher to join an international school in Jávea, Alicante, Spain to start as soon as possible.
The position will be for 4 months initially, with the possibility of an extension, and will be to teach Physics at IGCSE and A Level and ideally some Maths at IGCSE.
The school was founded in 1994 to provide a quality education based on the English National Curriculum, within an international environment. The school is comprised of Foundation, Primary and Secondary sections.
The current roll of approximately 290 students is made up of children of some twenty nationalities. The school is fully authorised to admit students of all nationalities and to convalidate their studies in line with the Spanish Education System. Teaching Spanish language and culture is an important part of the curriculum throughout the school.
The school has just received new investment that will take them to the next level and the Secondary department will be relocating to a new purpose-built facility early next year with a new computer suite.
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- PGCE in Physics
- EU passport holder or possession of a valid work visa for Spain
Salary:
Approximately 22,620€ pa.
