This is an excellent opportunity for a Physics Teacher with the School of the Nations, an international school in Macau, to start in August 2018.
Founded in 1988, the School of the Nations serves the educational needs of both the local and expatriate communities in Macau educating students from kindergarten through to secondary.
The school follows the English Curriculum with some adaptation with materials from Singapore, United Kingdom, United States, Australia and Hong Kong, while the Chinese Curriculum comes from Hong Kong and the United States. The curriculum aims to develop character and build capacity for service while promoting academic excellence, along with internationally recognised programmes such as International Baccalaureate (IB) and International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE).
The enrolment is currently approaching 500 students with a teaching and support staff of more than 80 people representing 14 different countries.
You must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physics, or in Education with a major or minor in Physics, as well as valid Teaching Certification from an English-speaking nation. Ideally you will also have experience working with native English and ESL students and have at least 2 years’ experience of teaching Physics.
The Principal of the school is ready to interview via Skype now and hopefully a job offer can follow very quickly. Apply today!
