Travelling abroad for an epic holiday is one thing. Living and working in an entirely new country is another - new culture, traditions, cuisines, landscapes and in your case, education experience! Sounds exciting?
As the international business world develops, the demand for native English speaking teachers in China grows - we have a vacant position with a group in Chengdu, Sichuan Province.
The thriving city of Chengdu, which is more commonly known as the capital of Sichuan Province, is renowned amongst the Chinese as the most cheerful and liveable city within the country. With a dazzling 14.43 million inhabitants it is situated on the banks where the Jin and Fu rivers meet.
If you are qualified to teach all ages from 3-year-olds to adult and are an ‘all-rounder’ as well a primary and maths teacher, we may have a position for you!
This education group is in the process of building an education hub, which follows teaching materials from the Cambridge University Press. They aim for an efficient, well run education centre, which delivers to their customers something different to what is on offer in Chengdu.
Due to the small but highly motivated and flexible team and their broad outlook on opening doors to all forms of educational value, there will be plenty of opportunities to teach courses in other areas too. For example, there are already plans in place to offer music/art/drama/coding/computational thinking courses, but anything else that encourages creative/critical thinking would be welcome.

Chengdu
The school is in the modern part of Chengdu, just a few streets away from the Global Centre, the largest building in the world in terms of floor area. It’s devoted to shopping but also houses offices, conference rooms, a university complex, two commercial centres, hotels, an IMAX cinema, a "Mediterranean village", a pirate ship and skating rink.
It’s easy to travel to downtown by subway. The nearest subway station is less than 3km away from the school accessible by sharing bikes, bus or ‘Didi’ (equivalent to Uber). A new subway line is under construction; a subway station will open at a walking distance from the school (about 1 km).
There are plenty of malls, gyms, restaurants, cinema, and parks around the school.
Buildings are new and apartments are modern and clean.
