A School in the Cayman Islands invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced teachers of Music to join their high-performing teaching team at the end of August 2017 for a Short-Term, 3-4 month contract, to cover Maternity Leave. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching Kindergarten, KS1 and KS2.
The School is a private, co-educational Christian school with over 900 students ranging from
Kindergarten to Year 13 and offers a British-based international curriculum leading to IGCSE / GCSE and A-level
qualifications.
Essential Requirements:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in music from a recognised institution, together with an internationally recognised teaching certificate.
- Have a minimum of three years’ current experience teaching a British- based curriculum;
- Have up to date knowledge and experience of teaching the new English National Curriculum 2014 or Early Years Foundation Stage 2014 (EYFS);

- Salary: CI$38,300 – CI$48,300 per annum and will commensurate with experience
