Worldteachers are working with one of the oldest, largest and most prestigious international schools in the UAE.
Ras Al Khaimah Academy are recruiting Primary Teachers (EYFS, KS1 and KS2) for their two new schools opening in September 2018.
Ras Al Khaimah Academy was founded in 1975 and has dramatically grown in size, developing an internationally-focused, co-educational, multi-cultural environment for the students, as well as providing an academically challenging education. The school is committed to their mission of life-long learning and global citizenship.

Students then have the option of taking the IB and AS levels for a further 2 years. Ras Al Khaimah Academy currently has over 1300 pupils at the school; many of these are local to the area (approximately 60% UAE) and the remaining students have come from over 60 countries, including countries as far away as Japan, Mexico, Canada and New Zealand. This has played a vital part in promoting and understanding the international mindedness of the school.
Ras Al Khaimah Academy has a total of 127 teaching staff of which 90 are from overseas across both primary and secondary. Like their students, many have come from all corners of the world including: America, Canada, UK, South Africa and Australia to name just a few. All teachers are required to have the necessary teaching qualification and experience in their teaching specialism. Arabic and Islamic teachers are mainly from the surrounding area.
