We are looking for a MYP coordinator (IB/STEM background) for a Private school based in Cyprus to start in August 2025.
They have the International Curriculum and intend to deliver the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme to meet the highest educational standards, ensuring the child receives a well-rounded and globally competitive education. They have already entered the candidacy phase as part of the IB licensing process.

Purpose of the role:
To lead and manage the design, implementation and evaluation of a world-class International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) curriculum through embracing, embodying and holding colleagues to account against the School vision, mission and values, whilst fulfilling the requirements of the Ministry of Education.
Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
● Bachelor's degree in Education.
● Minimum 7 years of teaching experience, with experience in curriculum/subject leadership of a STEM subject (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math).
● Experience of teaching in an IB World School (MYP and/or DP).
● Experience of leading a STEM subject.
Desirable:
● Experience of leading the MYP in an IB World School.
● Attendance of IB CPD within the last 7 years.
● Experience in international or culturally diverse school settings.

Teaching requirements:
Senior leaders are to teach what is required, as directed by the Head of School. Teaching within the STEM curriculum will be negotiable.
