Primary SEND Teacher (Aug 2026)
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established international school that delivers a high-quality education to a diverse student body. The school offers both the British National Curriculum and the American Curriculum to a growing community of over 4,000 students, from FS through to Year 13, leading to GCSE, IGCSE, and AS/A2 qualifications.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary SEND Teacher to join the team as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted support to primary students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
- Plan, deliver, and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, parents, and support staff
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
- Create an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment
Ideal Candidates Will:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree and QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification), with a specialisation in SEND or related field
- Have a minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification teaching experience, ideally within the UK National Curriculum
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of SEND practices and inclusive education strategies
- Be passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
- Be proactive, patient, and adaptable in a dynamic school environment
