Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Secondary Science Teacher to join a British Curriculum International School in Abu Dhabi.
The successful candidate will teach KS3 Science and KS4 Combined Science, delivering engaging lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. All Science specialisms are welcome, provided candidates are confident teaching all three disciplines up to KS4.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons following the British Curriculum.
- Teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics across KS3 and KS4 Combined Science.
- Assess student progress and support diverse learning needs.
- Maintain safe and effective practical Science lessons.
- Contribute to departmental and extracurricular activities.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Education (Science), or a related discipline.
- Recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE/PGDE, or equivalent), meeting UAE MoE approval requirements.
- Previous secondary Science teaching experience.
- Strong knowledge of KS3 Science and GCSE Combined Science.
- Native or native-level English communication skills.
- Any Science specialism accepted; ability to teach all three Sciences up to KS4 is essential.
