About the school
The International School is a British curriculum school that opened in Mohammed Bin Zayed City in September 2014. The school is the first to be opened by the Bin Omeir Foundation and is located on a large site in a popular residential area that is mainly home to Emirati families, but which also offers a number of British curriculum schools.
The school offers an enriched version of the National Curriculum for England, adapted to ADEK requirements and to the needs of Emirati and expatriate students. IGCSE and A Level qualifications are offered at secondary school level.
The size and appearance of the school is modern, colourful and impressive. Classrooms are suitably furnished and resourced. Teacher Requirements
- BEd in History or Geography OR BA History or Geography plus PGCE with minimum of 2 years teaching experience
