Worldteachers are working closely in partnership with a leading British international school in Doha, Qatar who are recruiting Primary Class Teachers to start in August 2022.
The school is very well established and is one of only three schools in the world to hold BSO’s ‘Gold Standard’
The school has a long and illustrious history, tracing its roots back well over 40 years, and enjoys working with extremely supportive parents and wonderfully enthusiastic and highly motivated students. The school recognises that its teaching staff are its most precious resource and so always strive to look after staff both professionally and personally.
Qatar offers a welcoming, vibrant and cosmopolitan lifestyle that is equally suited to both young and older members of the profession alike. Proud of its hospitality and rich Arabic history, Doha is a very modern city of contrasts ranging from the fascinating Souq Waqif and Museum of Islamic Art to the towering skyscrapers of downtown West Bay and the ultramodern shopping malls that are liberally scattered across the capital city.
In Early Years and KS1, the students enjoy a thematic curriculum delivered through continuous provision (EYFS) or thematic/linked provision (KS1), plus specialist lessons for Arabic, Islamic Studies, PE and Music. Class teachers are highly trained in programmes such as Talk 4 Writing and Read-Write-Inc, which is used to enrich the children’s learning. Classes are supported by trained, qualified, and experienced teaching assistants.
