This is a Class Teacher role which presents an outstanding opportunity to join a talented and dedicated team, led by the experienced UK Head of the sister school in the UK who has come to Riyadh as Founding Head. Aldenham Prep aims to provide the best possible all-round education and excellent pastoral care for every child.
Class Teachers have a responsibility for delivering the majority of the curriculum to their class, but will work closely with colleagues ensuring a collaborative approach to teaching and learning across the Year Group. The Children therefore receive the same opportunities, and all teachers feel supported by a strong team.
Arabic, Islamic, Music and PE are taught by specialist teachers to enhance the curriculum. Each class receives support from a dedicated Teaching Assistant.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
You should have (essential):
a relevant Bachelor's Degree;
a UK Postgraduate Certificate of Education or Qualified Teacher Status;
a minimum of two years relevant teaching experience;
excellent working knowledge of the UK National Curriculum;
a proven track record of effective teaching;
a strong academic background, stature and experience that will command the respect of pupils, parents, colleagues and the wider community
a commitment to academic progress and the welfare and safeguarding of students;
knowledge and understanding of recent educational developments and best practice;
You should have (desirable):
an understanding of the demands of a UK independent school environment;
experience working with children who have English as an Additional Language;
a secure knowledge of using technology to support Education.
