We are working very closely with the Senior Management of a leading British International School in Cairo, Egypt.  They are looking for a Year 1 Teacher to start ASAP.  The school is rated outstanding in all areas and they are based in a popular area.  

There is a 2 form entry and the maximum class size is 20 students.  The school's students have a very high level of academic achievement.  There is a strong emphasis put on pastoral care and you should have experience of this at Key Stage 1.  The students are all ex-patriates and around 20% are British.  You should have trained in the UK school system and have a minimum of 3 years' teaching experience.

There is an excellent tax free salary c£34,000 on offer and your additional accommodation allowance will easily cover a 2 bedroom furnished apartment. Other ex-pat benefits include health insurance cover, free transportation to and from school each day, as well as return flights and free school places for up to 2 children.  The low cost of living in Cairo will allow you to save a large proportion of your salary.  A bonus is paid at the end of the contract, roughly equivalent to a month's salary for each year of service.
